Abrasion Resistant Flux-Cored Wires – Hardfacing for Sliding and Rolling Wear

Abrasion resistant flux-cored wires are used to deposit hard, carbide-bearing layers on parts exposed to continuous sliding and rolling particle wear. In maintenance and repair, they restore worn dimensions and at the same time create a new wear surface optimized for two-body and three-body abrasion.

Typical Applications
           •  Hardfacing chutes, hoppers, liners and cyclone inlets
           • Restoring conveyor screws, chains, flights and troughs
           •  Overlaying bucket lips, side cutters and wear strips
           •  Refurbishing classifier blades and separator internals

Key Features
           •   High resistance to mineral abrasion with limited impact
           •   Uniform hardness through the deposit thickness
           •   Suitable for multi-pass overlays on large surface areas
           •  Predictable, even wear pattern for planned maintenance
