PrimeHARD Tungsten Carbide Flux-Cored Wires
Engineered for maximum service life, efficient productivity, and real industrial durability.
PrimeHARD is Panzercrom’s tungsten carbide flux-cored wire series, engineered for industries that demand maximum wear protection and absolute reliability in the most challenging abrasive and corrosive environments
PrimeHARD series wires are designed for severe abrasive service where an optimized WC volume fraction and a stable metallurgical structure are critical. Each grade combines controlled grain-size tungsten carbide (fused or spherical) with Ni-, Ni-B-Si– or Fe-based matrices to deliver the required wear behavior under sliding abrasion, fine/medium-particle erosionat different velocities, and low- to moderate-impact conditions.
Each wire is formulated to deposit a dense, uniform WC structure that dramatically extends component life, reduces downtime, andlowers total maintenance cost. With optimized microstructure saturation, corrosion-resistant matrices, and consistent deposition behavior, the PrimeHARD series provides stable and repeatable weld bead quality—run after run
The wire architecture ensures
• Optimized carbidedistribution in combination with matrix : across the overlay, providesconsistent wear rates.
• Optimum saturation and stable metallurgical structure.
• High retained hardness (WC: 2500–2900 HV) with macro-hardness of 50–55 HRC range depending on alloy system.
• Low dilution levels, preserving carbide integrity and maximizing service life on carbon steels,low-alloy steels, and selected stainless substrates.
• Suitable to use with gas or without gas
